Use different materials and techniques to make artworks
  1. exploring different ways of using visual arts equipment, techniques and processes and technologies
  2. exploring and using new tools and materials while constructing artwork in structured art experiences, for example using cutters, cardboard while making a sculpture
  3. attempting a variety of techniques with basic tools, for example lines, spots, splatter
  4. demonstrating emerging skills in the use of basic tools and materials, such as a paint brush, roller, sponge, paint, paper and cardboard to create an art work
  5. using technology to make artworks for example a basic software program to create a picture or add colour to a picture template
  6. following safety practices when using various materials and utensils, for example scissor safety
