Version history

The Victorian Curriculum F–10 was first published by the VCAA in September 2015, for schools to familiarise themselves with the curriculum prior to its implementation in January 2017.

Additional language curricula were added as they became available in 2016 and 2017, with ‘English as an Additional Language’ scheduled to be added in 2019.

Content descriptions
  • March 2016: Languages added - Arabic, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Modern Greek, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese
  • April 2017: Languages added - Auslan, Classical Greek, Latin
  • October 2017: The Arts, in the Respond and Interpret strand, selected content descriptions amended to include reference to learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and culture (for details, see http://victoriancurriculum.vcaa.vic.edu.au/overview/cross-curriculum-priorities)
Achievement Standards
