Version history

The Victorian Curriculum F–10 was first published by the VCAA in September 2015, for schools to familiarise themselves with the curriculum prior to its implementation in January 2017.

Additional language curricula were added as they became available in 2016 and 2017. English as an Additional Language was added in 2019.

The VCAA is developing the Victorian Curriculum F–10 Version 2.0. Mathematics Version 2.0 was added to this website in July 2023 and English Version 2.0 was added in December 2023. The release of the other curriculum areas Version 2.0 (other than EAL, Levels A to D (Towards Foundation) and some languages) occurred in June 2024 and have been published on the Victorian Curriculum F–10 Version 2.0 website. For timelines for familiarisation and implementation, see the VCAA website.
